We’ve been loving eggplant this season! You may have noticed in our farm store that we have a few different varieties of eggplant. New to our harvest this year is the Turkish Orange and Summer Emerald eggplants. Turkish eggplants are sweet and tender, and Summer Emerald has a reputation for being one of the best-tasting eggplants due to its firm texture, few seeds, and sweet and tasty flesh. Any of the eggplants we have available would be perfect for sautéing, broiling or grilling (and they all pair nicely with our fresh herbs!). We encourage you to be adventurous and give these unique summer crops a try… you won’t regret it!
